The cost of energy is skyrocketing. The supply of natural resources is dwindling. As these resources continue to dwindle the prices are just going to keep rising.
The shocking reality is most of the nations in the world have become enslaved to a global energy policy that makes no sense whatsoever. If you are waiting for the government to change things, you better not hold your breath.
In the late nineteen seventies, the USA had a president who recognized the insanity of the world’s energy policy, and he tried his best to get America off the crazy ride, and move us to a future of renewable, solar based energy. The vision this man had would have taken the nation to an entirely different place than where it is today, if we just would have stayed the course.
We didn’t stay the course; not even for a little while. The very next president came in and tore down the solar panels the previous president had put on the white house (that happened to be look quite a bit like the solar panel do it yourself solar system), and he dismantled the energy program that was going to move us to energy freedom by now. That new president was completely owned by the energy companies, as has been every president since him.
Today the country is bankrupt in more ways than one, and on the verge of a potential greatest depression. It could have been different. It should have been different. But it wasn’t.
The question is, what is our plan? What is YOUR plan? What plan of action are you going to undertake to help your family, your grandchildren and their grandchildren? What’s your family legacy going to be?
Whatever you decide, please don’t wait around for some white knight to come in and solve your problems for you. What in the world would ever prevent you from constructing do it yourself solar panels that you could start adding to your home, right away, and use less natural resources and start saving money?
You can do it like a Lego system and keep connecting them together, further reducing your consumption, and maybe you will end up getting off the grid altogether. Or better yet — Maybe you will stay connected and you will get paid from the power company for the energy units that you sell to them.
That would be awesome; wouldn’t it? Wouldn’t it be so good if you did not need to ever be concerned about black outs or brown outs, and to move your family in the direction of real self sufficiency? What is to stop you from starting a garden and eating some real food again, even as you are building your solar panel do it yourself solar system.?
